LINKS Survey about Social Media and Crowdsourcing in Disasters has started

The LINKS Consortium is conducting a survey on the current use and potentials of social media and crowdsourcing in the field of civil security has been launched. The survey is aimed at a wide range of authorities and organisations (like public authorities, fire brigades, civil protection organisations and NGOs) that are already actively using or interested in using social media and crowdsourcing in disasters.

The answers will provide a significant impact on further research activities and results in the project. The survey will also help to develop our open online platform, the LINKS Community Center, on which important information and guidance about social media and crowdsourcing in disasters will be gathered and discussed by an active community. The LINKS Community Center is currently under development and therefore an object of change. It can be reached under https://links.communitycenter.eu/

The participation in the survey has been extended until April 11th. Due to the case-specific focus in LINKS, the survey is also available in Danish, Dutch, German, Italian.
