LINKS is involved in Io non Rischio, a national communication campaign on the natural risks affecting Italy. On Sunday 24 October, Civil Protection volunteers, institutions and the scientific community in Italy will be together to spread the culture of prevention and good practices of civil protection.
In more than 500 city squares throughout the country, there will be “Io non rischio” (I don’t take risks) information points to raise public awareness on seismic, flood and tsunami risks and to promote citizens’ active role in risk prevention. At the same time, hundreds of “Digital Squares” will be set up, where volunteers will spread the culture of prevention, integrating the city squares through social media, remote meeting platforms and live interventions.
